New MUSIK MEYER Sales & Marketing Division established: MUSIK MEYER BENELUX

Effective April 1, 2011, MUSIK MEYER GmbH took over the responsibility for the distribution of HOHNER products in Belgium, Luxembourg and the Netherlands. In light of this extension we fine-tuned our activities and our services for the markets in the Benelux countries to operate even more target-oriented and in line with the requirements of our partners, the local specialist dealers. With our

we now have established our fifth Sales & Marketing Division within the Musik Meyer Distribution & Marketing Group. The new division will take up the distributorship as of July 1, 2011, and will be in charge of all brands that were formerly handled separately by our sales divisions MUSIK MEYER and M&T MUSIK & TECHNIK. Shipping of the products will be done through our central warehouse in Marburg (Germany).

With regard to the marketing aspects, the MUSIK MEYER BENELUX Team will be able to take a more individual approach to the specific requirements of the markets in the respective countries. Not only a localized catalogue to support the daily business is provided from now on, but also the possibility of ordering online as well as of recalling specific business data such as invoices, backorders etc.

Wolfgang Hoffmann, the Sales and Marketing Director of the new MUSIK MEYER BENELUX division states: "We are convinced that this step will further strengthen our fruitful cooperation and our good long-term business partnerships with our present customers. At the same time we are looking forward to talking to potential new partners to optimize the availability of our products in the Benelux area.
